i really enjoyed this picture book-like entry. hope you continue to do more of them in the future. also, have you noticed that seoulites have loyalties to one hotel's buffet? my family and i have been grand hyatt fans for years. i have another friend who only eats at shilla and another who claims that intercontinental is the best.

By the way, I just wanted to let you know that I've added you to my blogroll. You're not obligated to add me in return or anything, but I just felt you should know. :)

So much fun! Thanks for organizing a stellar weekend, Matt. :)

hey brian,
long time no talking. i'm glad you like it. can you tell that i was editing a level 1 english book last week?

re: buffet allegiances, i'd never betray the shilla. the food and the hotel itself boast the finest presentations i've yet to see in korea! understated! elegant!

thanks for the add. i enjoyed reading your blog and will gladly reciprocate the link. i'm all about encouraging traffic to benevolent foreigner blogs!

Glad you got to see Mraz, i went on Friday. Did you find it the care-free and smiley kinda corny... or the cringe-worthy corny!?

hilarious! yeah, i don't know if soju is friend or foe. had a great time!

Good luck, Hoon!

hola mr. glenn,
in my homo ajussi bitterness, i tend to cringe more than feel care-free, but i appreciated mraz's earnestness and his faithful fans were enjoying the show... dude's just not my kind of guy/music.

oh judy,
ain't you sweet. po ting is in a 5-week communication black hole while undergoing basic training... but i'm sure he'll appreciate the well wishes once he emerges. xo
